Ryan Hollingsworth, PharmD
Partner & Chief Pharmacy Officer
A graduate of Samford University's McWhorter School of Pharmacy, Ryan has been practicing pharmacy since 2009. Ryan did his pre-pharmacy coursework at East Tennessee State University, and it was there that he met his lovely wife, Brittany. Upon graduation, Ryan went to work for a major chain pharmacy and quickly learned that the corporate world was not where God was leading him to spend his career. He did, however, gain valuable experience in working at a high-volume pharmacy and the challenges that come with managing such a store. He and Brittany prayed earnestly for an opportunity where Ryan could work and actually serve patients with care and love, and where people were seen as more than just a number on a corporate spreadsheet. When approached about starting up Fountain Plaza Pharmacy, Ryan knew right away that God had answered his prayers. Ryan is passionate about pharmacy practice, particularly in the area of compounding. He currently serves on the Foundation Board of Directors for the International Academy of Compounding Pharmacists and was recognized in April 2016 as the National Compounding Pharmacist of the month by PCCA. In addition to his work at the pharmacy, Ryan is very involved in ministry at Russellville Baptist Church. Brittany and Ryan have 3 young children, Katie Beth, Levi, and Noah that keep them "busy" at home. In his spare time, Ryan enjoys hunting, golf, traveling , and University of Tennessee athletics.
